Midnight Sun Pollinator Exhibit

Bee

April 19, 2022

With the support of the City of Fairbanks Discretionary Fund, the Smithsonian Institute, and College Rotary, the GBG will be launching its first-ever exhibit this year.   It will feature insect pollinators of Interior Alaska.  Pollinators are essential to our lives and a critical link in many of the foods that we eat. Learning about and valuing the services that pollinators provide to humans and the environment is a critical step to protecting them and their habitat. The Midnight Sun Pollinators exhibit is developed to encourage learning about and valuing Alaska pollinators.
